01-18-2026: Moderni; The main feature of this modern design is the roof overhang with wood joist frames siting on conctete walls. The roof/ ceiling joists accentuate the entire spaces at entry, living space, and court yard. Water pond, steps, steel columns are laid out in harmony with concrete walls and wood joists to create simple, crisp, and clean modern spaces. According to the architect, the site conditions led them to carve multiple indoor/outdoor spaces into the topography – by filling some of the spaces with water they were able to expand the sense of the waterfront deeper into the property.
