09-01-2016:MODERNi: The Boldrewood Innovation campus is located at a key junction leading into the city, and the completed buildings set a new quality benchmark for the area whilst respecting the local suburban parkland setting. The campus officially opened in July 2015 encompassing four buildings, one for Lloyd’s Register and three for the university. The latter includes a hydro science facility which accommodates a 138m towing and wave tank, plus two large wind tunnels together with water flumes for the detailed study of fluid dynamics. Entrances to these buildings face a sloping lawn in the centre of an open space that will be clearly defined as the heart of the campus when the final building, a new National Infrastructure Laboratory, is completed in 2018Read More!
